Free Family Day at the Art Museum

In the honor of family time, The Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum invites you to come out and celebrate the Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) November 7, 2009, 11am-3pm.

This is the seventh annual Día de los Muertos celebration and they look for it to be bigger and better than ever.

The Day of the Dead is a celebration that started in Mexico in which families remember members that have passed away. Unlike Halloween, which it is commonly linked to, there's nothing scary about this holiday event.

Families come together with food, pictures and memories are plenty. It's the event that families plan all year for.

So join into the fun and Celebrating Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead)with The Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum.
